  • Time is an Illusion

“Time isn’t precious at all, because it is an illusion.
What you perceive as precious is not time, but the one point that is out of time: the Now.
That is precious indeed. The more you are focused on time – past and future – the more you miss the Now, the most precious thing there is!”

  • The Truth

To look upon the appearance of disease will produce the form of disease in your own mind, and ultimately in your body, UNLESS you hold the thought of the truth, which is that there is no disease; it is only an appearance, and the reality is health.

  • Everything Flows….

Pain, in the context of Chinese Medicine, is stagnant Qi (chi ). Tai Chi is a practice that moves Qi (chi). To remove pain, move Qi. It really is that simple. Learn to move your Energy. You can use a Tai Chi practice to heal yourself. Would you rather spend money on a doctor or an acupuncturist or another healing modality to “fix” yourself after you are broken? OR would you like to learn a healing practice that YOU control? You can learn a Tai Chi form in a short time and you can continue to practice and explore it’s potential for the rest of your life. Tai Chi, when taught properly should be exciting and fun, and yet relaxing and peaceful. It is a beautiful dance with every cell of your body. That dance will extend to every molecule of the Earth around you. In Chinese Medicine, Shen is observed by looking into one’s eyes. A person with strong Shen, has bright eyes and if fully present. Tai Chi will clear your eyes ;)

  • The Power of Intention

I took a class a few years back with a Medical Intuitive.  It was a 3 month class which you had to be “invited” to join.    It was 3 months of the most interesting and inexplicable excercises and healings I have ever seen.   There were only 6 of us taking the class and we were an interesting bunch to say the least.  I will not go into all the details of the class, and all the experiences, but I will share something I learned from it all.  Intention is everything.  My instructor drilled this into our heads over and over in many ways, but the one I remember the most is him just sitting and laughing to himself saying, “Intention is everything….all the rest of it is just a gig.”

I share this with anyone willing to read.  If you find yourself ill and look to a doctor, acupuncturist, energy worker or whatever, learn to read their intentions.    What is their intention?  Is it really to assist you in healing?  Or is it to “sort of” do that while showing how smart or powerful they are? Feel into their intentions.

And most importantly, review your intention for being there ;)

“Intention is everything…the rest is just a gig”

  • Qi (chi) And Healing

The concept of Qi or (chi).    sigCompositeThe best equivalent of Qi in our language is the word Energy.  Now if you talk with a Western teacher of Chinese Medicine they may have some intellectual arguements to such a statement.  It’s not a true translation.  The word works for me.  There is an energy or force that gives life to the cells, tissues, organs and structures of the body.     This Energy or Qi is a perceptable “feeling” that you can learn to sense within yourself.  Over time and practice you can guide this energy and begin to allow yourself to be moved by it.

This is such a simple thing to do really and many people (including those in the Chinese Medical Profession) do not know how to work with there own Qi.  It is hard to believe.   Chinese Medicine in this country has been Westernized in it’s presentation and many schools all but eliminate the very fact that Acupuncture works on an Energetic Level.

The truth is that once you learn how to work with your own Qi, you will rarely, if ever get sick.  Perhaps this takes years of training, perhaps not.   It does take consistency in practice to experientially understand your own Energetics, but at the rate of change that is going on in the world right now, I believe I could teach anyone to heal themselves in a relatively short amount of time.
